Briefly about Spisz region

Major part of Spisz is a part of Slovak Republic. In Poland there is only a small part. Administratively this part is divided between three communes. Pure Spisz's commune is Lapsze Nizne. Villages belongs to this commune are: Falsztyn, Frydman, Kacwin, Lpszanka, Lapsze Nizne (Lower Lapsze), Lapsze Wyzne (Upper Lapsze), Niedzica, Trybsz. Other Spisz's villages in Poland are splited between two other communes of Podhale region Bukowina Tatrzanska, which covers: Czarna Góra, Jurgow, Rzepiska. Nowy Targ commune which covers: Dursztyn, Krempachy and Nowa Biala.
