Summer turism attractions in Jurgów

Jurgów is good for visit in summer and winter. In summer you can take a walk in a forest in surrounding area or near to our Białka river. Białka river is a typical mountain's river with high rapidity but there are also some quite places where you can try to swim.

Watter in rivers is still very clear and good for rest in a water. It is not for everybody because water temperature is very low. Even in hot days it's around 15 Celsius degree.

If a level of water is good than river is used to swim with canoes. There are also canoe courses for beginners early summer organized by Academic Turistic Canoe Club "Bystrze" (AGH) (Jun, begining of July.

Another possibility how to spent a time is to take a walk to the surrounding hills to see very nice views of Spisz area and Tatra mountains and Jurgów itself. Jurgów is also good starting point for other High Tatra trips. Since 21st of December 2007 it is much easier because Poland is a part of a Schengen area. It means there is no more border crossing points on the Polish-Slovak border. You can cross in general wherever you want if it is not against the other roles like national park regulations.
